Now then, the big piece of announcement news today is that Marvel and Disney have just officially set director Destin Daniel Cretton’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 11/30, with the Digital release expected on 11/12. Expect HDR10 high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos audio on the 4K, while the Blu-ray will include 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Extras on both will include audio commentary by Destin Daniel Cretton and Dave Callaham, 2 featurettes (Building a Legacy and Family Ties), a Gag Reel, and 11 Deleted Scenes (among them They’re Waiting, Take a Shot, Apology, I’m Here, Pep Talk, Greatness, Escape Tunnel, Two Sons, Postcard, Just Friends, and Do It Yourself).

And in other news today, Kino Lorber and Giant Pictures have teamed up to launch a new streaming service for genre classics called Kino Cult. The service is free (it’s ad-supported) and it debuts today in the US and Canada, both online and via apps on Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Google TV, iOS, and Android devices.
