In announcement news today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just set George Miller’s Three Thousand Years of Longing for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 11/15. No special features are indicated in the studio’s press release, and we believe the 4K disc may actually be released through the Warner Archive Collection. In any case, the cover art is visible above left and also below.
Speaking of Warner, it appears that Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling is coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD on 12/26, but that date is still subject to change.
And the studio has announced that the HBO Max exclusive series The Flight Attendant: The Complete Seasons 1 & 2 will arrive on DVD only on 11/29.
Meanwhile, it appears that Lionsgate will release Kevin Smith’s Clerks III on 4K Ultra HD on 12/6, alongside the Blu-ray and DVD versions. But the 4K (a Steelbook edition) will be a Best Buy exclusive.
Lionsgate has also just set Dig for Blu-ray and DVD on 11/8, followed by Ghosts: Season 1 on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/22.
Universal has now officially set their 3D-animated Shrek 2 and Puss in Boots for release on 4K Ultra HD on 11/22.
Paramount set Scream 2 for 4K Ultra HD on 10/4. The studio also has a Paranormal Activity: The Ultimate Chills Collection coming to Blu-ray on 10/11, featuring all 8 films and a new Unknown Dimension: The Story of Paranormal Activity documentary on the franchise.
Here’s a surprise for TV fans: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set Dawson’s Creek: The Complete Series for Blu-ray release on 12/6. We don’t have cover artwork yet, but you can pre-order it here.
And the British Film Institute is releasing the more traditionally-animated Watership Down (1978) in 4K Ultra HD on February 27, 2022 and you can pre-order it now here on their website and also here on Amazon.co.uk. You’ll find the cover artwork below.
Finally today, we’ve learned that several of Indicator’s new Blu-ray releases are now available on Amazon.com, including Orders to Kill (1958) and the Magic, Myth & Mutilation: The Micro-Budget Cinema of Michael J Murphy (1968-2014) box set. Click on the title links to pre-order them.
