Shout! and Scream announce a TON of great titles at Comic-Con, plus new Pixar catalog in 4K!

We’ve got a quick but terrific update for you today…

As you know, Jeff Nelson, Brian Ward, and I held the Inside an Indie Studio: Shout! Factory panel at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday night, and we announced a ton of great titles that Shout! and Scream are working on for release in the months ahead (through March 2020).

From Shout!, you can expect The Anne Bancroft Collection (includes Don’t Bother to Knock, The Miracle Worker, The Pumpkin Eater, The Graduate, Fatso, To Be or Not to Be, Agnes of God, and 84 Charing Cross Road), Twins (1988), The Wizard: Collector’s Edition (1989), Brewster’s Millions: Collector’s Edition (1985), and a vinyl re-issue of Mystery Science Theater 3000: Clouds in the Sky. And from Scream Factory, you can look forward to The Abominable Snowman, Very Bad Things, a Big Trouble in Little China: Collector’s Edition (with a Steelbook edition released day-and-date), Body Parts, Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde, a Dracula: Collector’s Edition (1979), The Fan (1981) , The Fly Collection (includes The Fly (1958), Return of the Fly, Curse of the Fly, The Fly (1986), and The Fly II), Let’s Scare Jessica to Death, My Bloody Valentine: Collector’s Edition (1981), a Pet Semetary II: Collector’s Edition, Prophecy (1979), a Road Games: Collector’s Edition (1981), a Silver Bullet Collector’s Edition, and the Universal Horror Collection: Volume III (include Tower of London, Man Made Monster, The Black Cat (1941), and Horror Island).

Scream will also release a Slumber Party Massacre: Steelbook + Figure Limited Edition (with a new 4K scan of the film and a NECA “Russ Thorn” character action figure) and new Night of the Demons NECA action figures (of “Suzanne” and “Stooge,” sold together as a 2-pack).

It was great fun as always, so thanks to Jeff, Brian, and everyone at Shout! and Scream for inviting me to moderate again this year.

Now then, we also have one more big bit of news related to catalog 4K Ultra HD product from Disney and Pixar. On 9/10, look for Cars, Cars 2, Brave, The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, and Finding Dory on 4K Ultra HD. You can actually pre-order them now at Best Buy, and we expect the Amazon pre-orders to go live soon too.
