We start our post today with two new Blu-ray Disc reviews...

Tim has taken a look at Richard Fleischer’s Million Dollar Mystery (1987) on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber Studio Classics, which streets on 5/25.

And Dennis has chimed in with his thoughts on Gilbert Cates’ The Last Married Couple in America (1980), which just arrived last week (on 5/4) also from Kino Lorber Studio Classics.

Also, though I forgot to mention it in our last post, Dennis has also recently reviewed Hubert Cornfield’s The Night of the Following Day (1969) on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber Studio Classics, a film that stars Marlon Brando and Richard Boone and also streets on 5/25. So do give those a look if you’re interested.

Now then, in announcement news today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially set Space Jam for release on 4K Ultra HD and Digital 4K on 7/6, just as we expected. [Read on here...]

It appears that you’ll get HDR10 high dynamic range, with the previous Blu-ray audio mix. Extras will include the previous special features, among them audio commentary with director Joe Pytka, Bugs Bunny (voiced by Billy West) and Daffy Duck (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker), the “Jammin” with Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan featurette, and music videos for Seal’s Fly Like an Eagle and Monstars’ Hit ’Em High. You can see the cover artwork above left and also below.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has also set French Exit for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/15. The Digital version is now available as of today. The Sony Pictures Classics release stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Lucas Hedges.

Breaking Glass Pictures has set Amityville Poltergeist for release on VOD and DVD on 5/18.

Well Go USA will release Eoin Macken’s Irish coming of age film Here Are the Young Men on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/29. The Digital version is available today.

Also, we now have official confirmation from the Disney Movie Club (though not yet an actual announcement) that Raya and the Last Dragon will street on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD from Disney on 5/18.

And Universal will release Eddie Haung’s Boggie on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/1, with the Digital release set for 5/18.

Not done yet... Visual Entertainment Inc. has revealed that they’ll be releasing Baywatch: Remastered on Blu-ray and DVD on 5/18 (SRP $109.99 and $69.99). For those who may be wondering, these are mastered from the same source as the Amazon Prime Video and German box set versions. The means there’s been some editing (due to music rights issues) and they’re reformatted for the 1.78:1 frame (from the original 1.33:1 broadcast ratio). But if you’re still interested, there you go.

Finally today, Paramount has just released a brand new “series” trailer for the upcoming release of the Indiana Jones films in 4K Ultra HD... and the trailer can actually be viewed in full 4K (with SDR naturally). So have a look at that here, and again be sure to watch in actual 4K if you’re able...

We’ll leave you with a look at the cover artwork for a few titles mentioned above and more, with Amazon pre-order links if available (note that the Space Jam 4K and Howard the Duck 4K links are accurate, but pre-orders aren’t yet live—that should change shortly)...

Space Jam (4K Ultra HD) Howard the Duck (4K Ultra HD) The Indiana Jones: 4-Movie Collection (4K Ultra HD)
