First up today, Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders on the Blu-ray and DVD release of SPECTRE. There’s no street date listed yet, but as we said the other day, sources are telling us to look for it on 2/9.  [Read on here…]

All right, we’ve got some pretty darned good announcement news for you all today...

First up, Ridley Scott’s The Martian is now available for pre-order on Amazon on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, and DVD (Amazon price: $44.99, $22.99, and $14.99), set to be released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. All right, we have some new release news for you today...

Here’s a surprise: The Monkees: The Complete TV Series is coming to Blu-ray on 1/29/2016, including all 58 episodes and the film Head. Mastered from the original negatives, and featuring extras that include audio commentary from all four of the Monkees, plus outtakes, original Kellogg’s TV spots and more. The 7-disc, region free set will be available in Fan only and regular packaging and will be limited to 10,000 units. In announcement news, Universal has officially set Studio Ghibli’s When Marnie Was There for Blu-ray and DVD combo release on 10/6. Both versions will feature trailers and TV spots, plus a behind-the-scenes featurette on the voice talent. The Blu-ray will exclusively add 2 more documentaries (The Making of When Marnie Was There and Yohei Taneda Creates the Art of When Marnie Was There) and feature-length storyboard version of the film. [Read on here…]
