It further features “dual HDMI outputs with separate audio and video signal paths and its HDMI, 2ch analog and coaxial digital outputs are gold evaporated for better conductivity.” Sony is also having the unit certified with home control and automation vendors like Control4, Crestron, and Savant, among others. Here’s the catch, though: The UBP-X1000ES is being offered exclusively through custom installer channels and isn’t going to be available until Spring 2017. Pricing is TBA, but given all of the above probably high.

Also today, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has just set Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie for Blu-ray and DVD release on 11/29, with a Digital HD release due on 11/11. Extras on the disc versions will include deleted scenes, outtakes, a gallery, and 8 featurettes (On Set with Dame Edna, Have a Look, Sweetie Darling!, Locations, Legacy, Cameos, Drag Queens, Making of, Fashion, and Characters). And finally, Arrow has just shared a new trailer celebrating the 4K restoration of Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Dekalog.
