Now then… it seems as if Fox’s Fantastic Voyage and Voyage to the Bottom of the Seaare coming to Blu-ray Disc in the U.K. on 11/4. There’s no word yet of a U.S. release, though we believe you can be sure there is a U.S. release coming (and we’ve asked the studio for confirmation). It’s possible the titles could be retail exclusive initially here in the States. We’ll let you know when we do. [Breaking Update: We have now gotten official confirmation from 20th Century Fox that Fantastic Voyage and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea are indeed coming to Blu-ray this year in the U.S. (street date 10/8)! Just FYI.]
Meanwhile, Warner Home Video has set Hart of Dixie: The Complete Second Season for DVD release on 10/15.
Image Entertainment is releasing the sci-fi actioner Stranded on 7/26. The film stars Christian Slater.
Acorn Media has Midsomer Murders: Set 22 due on BD and DVD on 8/6.
Sony will release Bless Me, Ultima on DVD only on 9/17.
Wolfe Video will release Petunia on DVD only on 9/3.
And the BBC has set Top Gear USA: The Complete Season 3 for DVD only on 8/6.
Finally, as you can see on the upper left there, we’ve also got a first look for you at the Blu-ray cover artwork for Warner’s Necessary Evil: The Villains of DC Comics documentary due on 10/25, which comes complete with a lenticular hologram on the cover. Extras details are still TBA, but we’ll post them as soon as they come in.
