Also coming from Arrow on 8/26 are UK-only 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray of Jonathan Demme’s The Silence of the Lambs (1991), a double feature 4K UHD of Lucky McKee’s The Woman (2011) and Offspring (2009), and a double feature 4K UHD box set called When Titans Ruled the Earth, which includes Louis Leterrier’s Clash of the Titans (2010) remake and its sequel, Jonathan Liebesman’s Wrath of the Titans (2012). (Note that both double feature sets will be available in the UK, US, and Canada.) Finally, the UK and US will both get a Memento Mori: The Jörg Buttgereit Collection Blu-ray box set on 8/26 that includes the films Nekromantik (1988), Der Todesking (1990), Nekromantik 2 (1991), and Schramm (1993) plus a Blu-ray bonus disc. Meanwhile, A24 has just announced their own A24 Shop-exclusive limited edition Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD release of Rose Glass’ Love Lies Bleeding (2024) which is expected to start shipping on 6/14. This will include audio commentary with Glass and co-writer Weronika Tofilska, a pair of featurettes (In the Land of Guns and Muscles and Sex, Steroids, and Codependency), a gallery of behind-the-scenes photography. Via Vision has announced their Imprint Television #8 title, which is none other than Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased): The Complete Series in a 7-disc Blu-ray set that’s due on 8/28.
Shudder has set Rob Jabbaz’s The Sadness (2021) for release in 4K Ultra HD on 7/30.
Universal has set Dev Patel’s Monkey Man (2024) for Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release on 6/25.
Vinegar Syndrome has listed Joseph Zito’s Invasion USA for 4K UHD on 7/30.
Well Go USA will release Jang Jae-hyun’s Exhuma (2024) on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on 10/8.
And Dark Force Entertainment has set Marina Sargenti’s Mirror Mirror (1990) for 4K Ultra HD release on 8/13.
Also today, here’s something pretty cool: 20th Century Studios has just unveiled the first official trailer for Fede Álvarez’s forthcoming Alien: Romulus (2024) which arrives in theaters on 8/16. And I’ll be damned if it doesn’t look pretty solid. You can watch it here...
