In announcement news, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set The Boondocks: The Complete Series and The Boondocks: The Complete Fourth Season for DVD release on 6/24.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has also set Graceland: Season One for DVD only release on 6/3, followed by The Bridge: Season One on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/24. Witches of East End will also street on DVD only from Fox on 6/24. Note that The Bridge: Season One will include audio commentary, deleted scenes, and 2 featurettes (Building The Bridge and Ciudad Juarez: The Other Side of The Bridge with Damien Cave).

Fox has also set the animated DreamWorks Dragons: Defenders of Berk, Part 2 for DVD only release on 5/27.

Starz and Anchor Bay have set In the Blood for Blu-ray and DVD release on 6/3.

And Phase 4 Films has set Ron Howard’s Made in America for Blu-ray and DVD release on 7/22.

Meanwhile, Paramount is reissuing a number of the catalog titles to which it still retains home video rights (including the Star Trek films, the Mission: Impossible films, etc) on Blu-ray on 7/1. Note that these are re-issues only with no new content. Just in case you saw the Amazon listings and were wondering.

And finally today, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the passing today of actor Bob Hoskins, likely best known here in the States for his work in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Steven Spielberg’s Hook. You can read more here. Hoskins was 71.
