And Discotek has just announced a new 2k scan, restoration, and Blu-ray release of Hideki Takayama’s Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend (1989), mastered from one of the last known uncut 35mm prints from a private collection. The result is reportedly coming soon to Blu-ray, a disc that will also include OVA 1-3 (OVA will be SD only), extensive liner notes, a trailer and promo collection, original credit rolls, and an animatic sequence.
