American Mummy (Wild Eye Releasing)

Released earlier this year, American Mummy tells of the ancient Aztec Lord Tezcalipoca, who is awakened from his slumber by a group of college students on an archeological expedition in New Mexico. This malevolent spirit goes about possessing the students one by one, hoping to break free of his confines and bring his brand of evil into the world.

Directed by Charles Pinion (Red Spirit Lake) and featuring Suziey Block, Aidan Bristow, and Aaron Burt, this optional 3D title’s extras include a set of outtakes, trailers, behind-the-scenes videos, and more.

Peelers (Uncork’d Entertainment)

Peelers tells the story of a former baseball player turned strip club owner who finds herself overrun with zombies. With a heavy emphasis on practical gore effects, the movie has enough genre appeal for even the most jaded horror fans.

This title’s Blu-ray and DVD extras include an audio commentary with director Sevé Schelenz and writer Lisa Devita, deleted scenes, a gag reel, and a few other goodies.

The Control Group (Wild Eye Releasing)

In The Control Group, a set of kidnapped college students find themselves housed in a maximum security mental asylum where they’re forced to take part in a set of unnatural experiments, which drives them to fighting their way out of it.

Featuring a performance by Brad Dourif, the DVD’s extras include an audio commentary with writer/director Peter Hurd, a set of trailers, and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

The Abduction of Jennifer Grayson (Wild Eye Releasing)

The titular woman in The Abduction of Jennifer Grayson finds herself to be a victim of a kidnapping, but after unintentionally falling for her captor, he lets her go. However, she soon discovers that he may actually be a serial killer, and only she knows where to find him.

Starring James Duval and Rachel Jane Conn in the leading roles, the extras on the DVD release of the film include an audio commentary from director Corynn Egreczky, music videos, and a few trailers.

Beacon Point (Uncork’d Entertainment)

A straightforward sci-fi thriller, Beacon Point is about a group of hitchhikers lost in the wilderness who find themselves face to face with something terrifying. The film stars Rae Olivier (Rachel Marie Lewis), Eric Goins, Jon Briddell, Jason Burkey, and RJ Shearer, and was directed by Eric Blue.

The Blu-ray and DVD releases include an audio commentary, deleted scenes, trailers, and more.

Tsunambee (Wild Eye Releasing)

The world is on the brink of coming to an end in Tsunambee and three groups of survivors must come together in order to defeat a literal plethora of giant killer bees, swarming out of control and laying waste to everything in their path.

Perfect for the Sharknado crowd, the DVD for this title includes a set of trailers as an extra.

Darkest Day (Wild Eye Releasing)

In Darkest Day, a young man named Dan wakes up near an empty city with only a handful of other survivors, finding himself battling both the living dead and the military as he and his makeshift group trek across an urban wasteland.

Directed by and starring visual effects artist Dan Dickard, the extras for this DVD release include an audio commentary and a set of trailers.

Asylum of Darkness (Wild Eye Releasing)

A patient wakes up in the Asylum of Darkness and attempts to escape, but soon discovers that supernatural forces are attempting to lure him back in and never allow him to go.

Featuring appearances by Richard Hatch, Tiffany Shepis, and Tim Thomerson, the DVD’s extras include trailers, deleted scenes, and a making-of featurette.

Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four (Uncork’d Entertainment)

Doomed! is a new documentary that covers just what happened to Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four, why it got made, and why it was never released. It features interviews with the film’s stars Alex-Hyde White, Rebecca Staab, Jay Underwood, Michael Bailey Smith, and Joseph Culp, as well as Roger Corman himself. Included on both the Blu-ray and DVD is a Q&A segment, a set of outtakes, a revisit to the filming locations, and an additional Roger Corman interview.
